| Fully embed 40 or 60 (depending on model) #14-10 2" wood (3/4" or greater wood substrate) or metal screws (20 gauge minimum steel) into wood or steel decking, fasten to I-beam using base plate and 1/2" grade 5 bolts, or attach to concrete (minimum 2,000 psi/6" thick) using 4-8 1/2" Hilti Has-E rods. Installation varies by model; refer to manufacturer's directions. Warning: Users must strictly adhere to the manufacturer’s inspection, installation, maintenance and use directions; and must follow local, state and federal safety regulations. Structural member must be able to support 5000# force. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death. |
